OP, question for you.

How do you suck THIS MUCH at typing? Seriously. I have to read some of your posts two or three times before understanding what you're trying to say. And I know I'm not the first person to say this.

And I'd be ripping pissed. Why did you take it to this body shop to begin with? Did they have a good reputation or something? Cause they really shouldn't.

call your insurance company if they have already payed and tell them you need a rental car because they have taken double the time to fix. then the insurance company should make the shop pay for the rental car, that would kick the shop in the azz to get it done.

For body paint shops, does a customer HAVE to pay FIRST before the service is done?

some do, some dont. theres a couple of shops here that dont charge till the job is done, others charge half before and half when the job is complete. insurance normally pays in full when the car hits the shop.
