Default stock and wanting to mod

i have a pretty much stock 99 gt, with cai, and catback exhaust, and a short throw, and i want to look at doing some more mods, but it is still under a aftermarket warranty so i cant throw in new gears, and was looking at some kind of tuner? and was wondering with only exhaust and cai will a tuner make a difference? or is it a good starting point because anything that is put on i would need to be able to take off for warranty work.

Yup...Go with either the Sniper or Xcal 3 both will give you gains and the tuner will come in handy in the future.

A good starting point would be gears.... My mustang is also under warranty but once you put the gear's in, the shop will also offer a warranty. I would wait on the tuner and get the gears....

that is true but I think im sticking with the tuner because it will deff help in the long run regardless and with gears I would be doing the install myself.

i say "F" the warranty like i did and start adding mods that are going to make a difference, you wont really notice a difference with the tuner. go all out get the gears and then some nitrous, you will love it

The issue with the warranty is not that bad , The dealership has to prove that your aftermarket part caused a catastrophic failure in order for the warranty to be voided. If your have the part installed properly and precisely then you should be ok. Mod the hell out of that bastard !
