Nice times for the mods you have. My mods are in my sig and I go to my local 1/8 track almost every week with my 17X9's with 275 Nitto DR's and so far my best is an 8.82 and I usually do 8.8's-8.9's and I can't seem to do any better...

Do you have gears?

Those are some damn good runs for your setup. Every now and then you read about someone with an abnormally fast 2 valve. My car is the same way... weather i'm on the juice or not. Problem is when you tell some people what your car does, they call BS.

I think with a gear and sticky tires, a 12.9 is not out of the question for you. I'm getting my first set of drags tomorrow, and hope to break into the 12's n/a once i learn how to really launch

no gears, yet. Im sure i could hit 12.9 pretty easy, my 13.39 was ok but sure if my rear end hadnt gone haywire i could have improved that quite a bit, wouldnt be surprised if i could hit a 13.2 but thats based on my 13.42 being with a 2.1 60' and me thinkin i coulda run a 1.99 or better 60 with a little more practice. Only problem now is ill have to relearn how to drive the car when i get gears.

Thats almost too good to be true without gears and all...Get gears and better tires and you will definitely be almost if not 12's....

Are you running 93 octane?

thats the idea. although after gears and tires im hoping for a turbo so 12s are guarenteed. well 12.5 anyway dont wanna go faster t han that, dont feel like spending lots of mney on a roll cage just yet. and i beleive the octane here is 91, and yes thats what im running, and its not a dyno tune its a email tune from sct, nothing super exotic im sure.

if i spent all that money for a turbo and couldnt go faster then 12.5 i would be pissed. You dont need a cage at 12.5 isnt it 11.5? With a turbo you can prob get 11's with a nice suspension set up. or low low 12's with what you have now.
