You will end up spending more money in the long run though..

start with
Trak lok rebuild kit
gears

shortly after
adjustable shocks/struts
drag launch springs
rims and tires
UCA/LCA
Drag radials

then ill move onto the motor,
cai
pi swap
exhaust
headers
cams/with the pi swap
pulleys
then supercharger
dyno tune when all installed

Ive already priced it and for all this im looking at 5 grand and Im saving is this the right way?
More like 10k with the S/C factored in.

I would do gears first, exhaust second, PI swap third, everything else will fall into place.

Five thousand dollars for all that? Lol we'd all be pushing 500hp+ at the wheels if all that was 5K.

10,000 on the very low and lucky end. 13,000-14,000 On the very high and unlucky end. GL

Yehh, not a new sc sorry for the miss understanding i frankly see it as a waste to spend 5-10k on something that you could get for 1-3k Haha I have a poor mans budget but a richmans need for speed

you can definitely find good used blowers out there. i got my Vortech kit with aftercooler for $3k, all i needed were the fuel injectors and fuel pump (got used injectors on ebay and had them cleaned up, fuel pump from Haney Motorsport for about $100). it was a hell of a bargain cause that kit sells for probably close to $6k new.

there's a new roots-type (or is it twin screw? can't remember) from a company called Tork Tek or something like that. not sure if it's a quality blower, i know some magazine did an install and got good results but i've heard they're cheaply built.

If your doing gears wouldn't it make sense to get the whole rear end done instead of having to spend money twice? I'm a big fan of the phrase "do it once and do it right"
