Default roots supercharger???

i have just bought my first 2001 ford mustang gt back in dec.(owned several chevys before this one) and dont much about a mustang. i would like to supercharge it using a roots charger. i looked at the eaton charger off a 03-04 cobra but dont know if it would work. does any body have any ideas for this newbie?

im not really looking for a powerhouse, 300 to 400 rwhp will suit me fine. been there and dont want to be under the car all the time again. this will be a daily driver. the car is stock now but the pile of parts in the garage is growing, full stainless exhaust, al pulleys and cold air so far. looking into the sniper tuning. a mild supercharger is kinnda what im looking for. twin screws does sound nice!

Go Vortech or Procharger, centri blower is your best bet.

Look at the 1500 s/c write up in the boost /pipes/juice section. That would be the cheapest way to achieve your goal.

It will be cheaper and easier to just go with like a vortech or procharger. It will fit perfect and you will be more then happy with it.
