All paint jobs are going to have some orange peel. For as much as your paying a cut and buff should be included... then it will be like glass. Some shops bake their paint jobs, and in a controlled environment they can really reduce the peel. But either way its no biggie, and every car need to be color sanded anyway

First, I actually like the color. Different is good (never saw an Electric Green stang before I bought mine lol)
Second, almost ALL paintjobs will have orange peel. Only a handful of people can lay clear like glass all the time. After wetsanding and buffing, THAT is when it will look like glass. I work in a bodyshop, wetsand cars every day. In the booth it's kinda rare to see smooth paint...
Third, when we do complete color changes (like this car) all doors, glass, hood, etc. are removed, but when we do side work (like this car sounds to be) it's up to the painter. If he really is doing this for free, he probably doesn't want to spend a lot of his time not making money. If it's free/side work, how is the BBB gonna do anything? It's not a business transaction so they have nothing to do with it. If he went through the shop, paid the shop (not the painter) to paint it, THEN the BBB would do something...
Wow, that post is longer than all my others combined lol
