Default Control Arms

I'd like to order a pair of lower control arms this week and I have no idea which ones to buy... Can someone point me out a good pair in or below the $150 range?
Also what are the advantages to having uppers along with the lowers?
Thanks guys!

I went with UPR PRO series Moly Chrome adjustable control arms 174 shipped from UPR. I did not go with uppers.

I will disagree with Hoss above and recommend the following UPR LCA's and here's why:

The issue I have with the ones linked is the poly/poly bushings. Although these WILL be an upgrade to your stockers as to launching, they will be be less than spectacular in the twisties. The UPR ones have a poly/spherical end and allows MUCH better articulation of the rear axle for improved cornering. This will also relieve some of the stress on the torque-boxes created by a solid poly/poly LCA. The UPR Pro Series, as mentioned by above, will add even more noise, but be a bit more solid over all. I think this is a bit of overkill, but to each his/her own

These will, however, add a bit more noise in your ride. This will not be a lot more than the poly/poly ones, but is the trade-off for good suspension geometry. Furthermore, I recommend you also go with a set of UPR UCA's for even better improvement on launching AND cornering:

These will be FAR better than stockers for same issues as above. Again, increased NVH, but an improvement over stock by many times over.

Hey - Jazzer How much noiser will it be? I was told these would be best because of my future power levels and extra weight being a vert. I guess time will tell once I get her done.

^ I don't think a LOT more noise, but certainly some.

Anytime you remove a softer material (original rubber or even poly) and go metal/metal contact, you will increase your NVH. My ride is 100% metal/metal joints except for 3 poly bushings total. One on axle-end of LCA's and one on frame-end of PHB. It can get pretty loud on a rough road, but am pretty used to it now.

I think the Pro series would be benificial with really high HP as well. I have seen a few pics of blown-out poly bushings. Some of which resulted in ruined tires and/or damaged fenders and wheels. I wouldn't think one is worried too much about noise if going TT or something

Jazz is correct! But if you are looking at doing mostly drag...straight line, we have good experience with the chrom moly Elite arms.
