Internals of a Catylist
So if you've ever wondered what was inside of a catylitic converter, this is a small piece that had come loose in the left bank converter underneath my car. One of the reasons I went to an O/R pipe.
I'm now going back though to the catted midpipe merely because this Off Road one is simply too loud for me. I liked how quiet my car was with cats on, and now that the thing that was rattling is out (which merely took turning the pipe on it's end, and the thing simply fell out) I can put it back on.
I'll sell the pipe to anyone who wants it for 50 bucks, if you're in AZ, makes it a cheap swap

So I wonder what makes them "high-flow"? That looks like the same **** that was in my stock H. Besides the obvious fact that there is only 2 on an aftermarket catted midpipe, what makes the actual converters high-flow?
