You'll want to use logic when you buy cams... I'm sure you'll go for 2.5's...Like I did. I wish I went with stage3's now.
I'm hoping for the patriot heads to have a seal problem at the end of the summer, just so I can get the TF heads & stage 3 cams, :0)

I went with the s292 cams but wish I would have went with the s292 r cams. Mine are so mild that I ran stock valve springs for a year and a half.. They have a decent amount of duration but only 531 lift.
I wouldn't go with any cam with the tfs heads until some one makes one designed just for them.
I feel gains won't be large over ported pi NA, but will really shine in FI applications.
I will probably never purchase the TFS heads regardless of their performance. But my car would be the perfect test bed since I'm about far as I can go with the T-trim. I have their best intake setup since I use their oval upper with a huge Accufab special single blade throttle body that flows 1694 CFM.
With a set of ported tfs heads, ported tfs intake with the oval tb, agressive blower cams designed for their heads, and step up to a ysi trim with race gas the car could break 900+.

Trickflow should give a set of these to real world people who have already awesome cars, like ox or givepepper who are maxed out where they are at and see how much more potential these heads would give cars in each app. Like do a centri blower car, roots style blower car, a turbo car, and a maxed out n/a car. I just wanna see how much more power we can make from already maxed out cars running 2v's. But in regards to the post about running cams specifically made for these heads...what would have to change to a cam design to make them specific for these heads??? Im sure Jim probably is already way ahead of all of us and has something in the works, but what would have to be changed, altered, augmented to the cams to make them better suited to these heads???

Already have 2 grinds in the works....a CMS Stage 3 N/A and Stage 4 N/A. I will also get working on some more blower grinds. There was no need for anything bigger until now. The biggest factor is the greatly improved low/mid-flow of the TFS heads. Now we wanna get the valve opening as quick as possible so ramp rates/duration are more aggressive. Even though the heads flow great at higher lift, we have to be careful with cam lift because then valvesprings become the limiting issue.
