Default Anyone have this clutch cable

So I finally got her up in the air to figure out whats going on with my cable and see that the outter wires gave out on the steeda adjustable clutch cable I have. Well I was looking on AmericanMuscle.com and see they have 'em for $39 but they also have Maximum Motorsports high performance clutch cable for a few more. Does anyone have this cable, if so how happy are you with it? I have a stage 2 zoom clutch and firewall adjuster if that matters.

He's right. Using nothing but a stock Ford cable. It's the best out there for only a few dollars more.

Contact Mike Forte ta FortesParts.com. He can usually supply it at a better price than your local Ford dealer. You pay shipping, but no sales tax. And, it gets dropped on your door step in a few days.

I'm running an 03 Cobra cable in my 98 with a firewall adjuster and an aftermarket quadrant.

I picked up the quadrant and the firewall adjuster from Promotion Powertrain.

http://www.promotionpowertrain.com/

They might recommend the adjustable cable, but I'd stay away from it.

Where'd you try to get it?

I picked one up from Maroone Ford of Margate a few days ago. They had it in stock and it was like 75 bucks.

I can check and see if they have more in stock, if it'll save you the drive. (They're right down the street from my house.)

Shoot me a PM and let me know,
Alan
