Default lowering with stock shock/struts

Looking into buying H&R super sport. Just wondering if running these with cc plates and no aftermarket shocks/struts at 60k miles would destroy my stock shocks/struts. Any advice would help, sorry if this has already been talked about..went through the search and didn't find much.

it will put added stresses on them, maybe not destroy them. When they go bad just swap them for some fox body struts (not saying OEM) just what ever brand you choose, get the for a fox body.

Dont do it half assed. If your going to lower it buy shocks/struts and c/c plates all together. If you cant afford it, save up.

I did mine @ 70k and it was on the stock struts and shocks. Still handles great. I did the Eibach Pro Kit which is the same as the super sports out back and not much different up front.

I just installed my Eibach pro Kit on Tuesday and had an alignment done today. Everything else is still stock. Stock struts, shocks and no cc plates. Some inner tire wear will happen but not too bad. I will be getting the cc plates later though.
