With a decent driver I would bet that mach would be mid 12s

I'd say about the same thing, with a great driver probably mid-low 12's at best. If they went with 4.30's they might be able to pull off a high eleven if they drive the **** out of it (seen it happen, that's the only reason I say)

depends on how far you plan to go with the car. If you plan on big power down the road (anything to trap more than about 110-115) you'll need significantly less gear, say 3.55's or 3.73's

Otherwise, I can't see a reason why it would be tough on the street (anymore than 4.10s), I know a couple people that drive their machs every day with 4.30's

IMO no 4.30s especially in a car that revs to 7000 would not be harsh on the streets.

Like said above mid to low 12s. If he had a stall that car would launch nasty off the line...

im hoping that with a 3500 stall and a shiftkit along with an aluminum driveshaft the car should deep in the 12's maybe high 11's and since it's an auto i dont think the driver mod really applies to it as much. anyways this is something im hoping to do soon when i pick up a mach 1
