Default Just replaced coil packs

So I just replaced my coil packs today and it is sounding alot better. Now tomorrow (if it stops raining) i have to space out my procharger a bit then it will be back on the road! I'm really excite except I won't get to enjoy it long since I am going out to sea in a couple more days.

Yea it does...what else sucks is that I will miss the Mustang march in Myrtle Beach because I will be at sea for 6 MONTHS! It sucks big *****.

Because of the s/c they were failing at low RPM underload. The stockies do that so I bought the Accel Super coils which work dang good.

Many folks run stock coil packs blown with zero issues. I wouldn't blame them because they were stock. I think you had a couple that were just going bad period.

I read it in a book that I use religiously by Shawn Highland Motorsports...the modular motor god himself...that amazingly the Accel COPS are better and cost less. The perform just the same as the MSD ones but cost less. And I have never been strayed wrong when I listen to that book.

What did you do with the old COPs? I was changing the plugs in my 2000 GT the other day and tore the boot on one of them.

You can buy just the boots at advance auto parts.
