4.6L General Discussion This section is for non-tech specific information pertaining to 4.6L (Modular) Mustangs built from 1996 to 2004.

Would this be a good N/A street setup?

here's a few videos that TFS Tech has posted on youtube...

the info for the videos says they used the TFS heads, plenum, and cams (not sure which cams) with a stock intake (in the 2nd vid you can see they used long tube headers and no belt driven accessories). looks like it made about 351 lb-ft and 364 hp to the crank. the torque is close but the hp is not nearly on par with the ~407 that we've seen in their dyno charts.

but then here's a video where they quote the numbers in your dyno chart...

odd that they would show a S197 at the end of the video when they're advertising their SN95/New Edge heads ???

It all depends on YOU. If you would be happy with 300rwhp, then do it. I LOVED driving my car on the street N/A. It made 328/340 and was a blast to drive. Great street-ability decent gas mileage, and sounded awesome (IMO)

But as soon as I put a N20 kit on the car it was kinda boring to drive on the motor.

If I were you I would do the top end, fuel upgrade and later on a 75shot for every now and then.
