I hate seeing threads like this...

I am terrified of my car getting broke into / stolen. I have had two trucks stolen and torn to bits and another truck broken into and radio stolen. All three vehicles were locked and parked in "safe" locations. Insurance doesn't give a rats *** about these incidents and neither do the police. They never found my first truck...the police didn't even register it as stolen until we checked the DMV a couple years later and had them fix it. If I ever catch someone breaking into my car...I'll end up in the back of a cruiser and they'll be in the back of an ambulance.

I had an aftermarket alarm installed on my mustang, but after many installation attempts, couldn't get it to work properly with my vehicle computer, so all I have at the moment is my factory alarm.

Sorry to hear about your car bro.

Now for a serious question: can a detail shop get rid of all the glass? Some of it is like a fine powder, and there's no way I can do all of this myself, nor can I drive it in this state.

do you have cloth or leather seats if cloth sweep it out and then use a carpet cleaner attachment and try to get it all up that way

hate seeing threads like this but i wish someone would come slice my top and break my drivers window since i need to replace both lol

Will a vacuum at the car wash get the glass out? It's EVERYWHERE, and the hole in the window isn't even that big.

sorry bud that sucks.

I'm yelling this on purpose.

MOST IMPORTANTLY KEYLESS ENTRY AND A PANIC BUTTON DOES NOT AN ALARM MAKE.

ALL WAYS HAVE AN ALARM ON YOUR CAR,

ENCASE THE ALARM UNDER A COVERING OR RELOCATE IT TO SOMEPLACE OTHER THAN AT THE KICK PANEL,

ALWAYS HAVE AT LEAST TWO SIRENS, ONE UNDER THE HOOD AND ONE INSIDE THE CAR,

DON'T BUY CHEAP ALARMS (or remote starts for that matter),

Sweet idea

I have a pair of sirens under the hood and one has a battery back-up. If the power is cut from battery, this siren WILL sound weather the alarm is active or not.

I think I will go one better and put one inside as well. I will hook it up to play Yanni at 110db

Jazzers would be robbers say... WHAT!
