Flowmasters may be played on here, and in real life, but they certainly aren't played IRL with an aftermarket midpipe attached to it. Most cats around here just throw on some Flowmaster mufflers and call it a day. No 2.5" piping, no tips, and a stock midpipe. A friend of mine's cousin has an O/R h-pipe and Flowmasters on his GT and they sound like pure sex.

Must be a location thing because 80% of the mustangs around here have an o/r h and Flows, most of them being dumped. The other 18% have stock and welded in Flows. I did see a new edge the other day with some Magnapacks and an o/r x, sounded pretty good...

I'd love to go with MAC but those ****ers are on backorder for eternity it seems. One of the vendors on the corral said that the 2 warehouses he orders from claimed mid June. We shall see.

And this will be my 5th I think. Er 6th. One of the 2.

I feel your pain man, I waited for about 3 months to get mine. Well worth it though IMO.

Yup. I don't hear anyone around here with MAC. Hell, I hear more mustangs with magnaflow than flows. But most of the time I can't hear anyone's exhaust because mine drowns theirs out.

Hense the reason why im running an O/R x pipe. With an x pipe, flows might be a little more raspy, but the sound is awesome. Its sooo raw. Definitly loud. I have to watch how much gas i give it coming into the neighborhood at 11PM at night cus it will wake the dead. Its a lot louder than most of the other mustangs with o/r mids and flows that ive heard. All the mustangs around me have SLP's though. So im trying to stay away from those. Plus i hate the crapload of pieces that each side comes in. Plus if a baffle comes loose like mine did, the aluminized have a 3 year warranty for workmanship. So im gonna take a warranty claim out with them and im gonna see if i can send them like $60 and get a stainless steel setup instead of aluminized. We'll see. If i get the stainless steel catback, i will put a thread up here and let everyone know what i think.
