Window tint - Need Pics Please!
Tomorrow is my birthday and the wifey says that she wants me to get my windows tinted as a gift from her.
I called the tint place and they said that they will do any shade I want, but 35% is legal.
I drive a lot in Virginia and I know those State Troopers will bust my *** so I really don't want to take a chance going with anything darker. I really wanted 20%, but it's not worth it having to remove the tint and have it redone, etc.
Does anyone have pics of a Stang with 35% all the way around?
Thanks!

I went with 5% on the rear and 20% on the sides. In the second pic you can see that when the sun shines threw the sides are not that dark.
35% will be a little lighter then my Driver/Passenger side window.

haha, ya 35s blow. i had the same combo on my 5.0 as i have now, but with a 35 on the windshield. it was one dark ****!! all you could see of me was my nuckles when i was driving. LOL!
to be honest with you, the state troopers really shouldnt bug you if you are driving in your own state. its usually the other state plates with illegal tints that will get screwed.

I went with darks in the back, and mediums on the front windows. So 30 pct in the back and I think 50 in the front. I like it, keeps a good bit of the light from getting in the car, but you're still able to see out your back window at night. I kinda wish I went 15 in the back though.

cops don't seem too bad here in Texas, only time i've ever been pulled over was in San Antonio a few years back.. got a ticket for 15% on the front windows. but that's the only time i've been pulled over in 7 years of having dark tint. i have 5% on the back windows but wish i had just done 15% all the way around. at night it's nearly impossible to see out the back.
