Default Need new tires help.

I have fr500 17x10.5. I curently have nitto 315 dr's on them but there bald now. They came with the rims i bought them off my friend with a termi cobra. I got a couple thousand outta them but now my dad made me put the stocks back on. Which is hilarous having 8 inch wide rims with 290rwhp and 4.10s haha. My friend has these (Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z Tire (315/35-17) and he said they suck and run out quick as well.
I was looking at getting dr's again but its my DD and i want a tire thats gonna last longer but still stick somewhat. Any suggestions?

ive had somewhere around 10 sets of nittos, and on average i get about a year out of em, and thats roasting the **** out of em from red lights and occasionaly snatching second and leaving a trail of rubber. you should easily get 10-15k out of em. for a DR, they dont hook as good as say a MT, but they will outhook any street tire 10 to 1 any day of the week and outlast a MT 10x as well. pretty decent compromise in my book.

nt05's, twice the treadwear of 555r's and should be sticky enough for 290hp and affordable.

Im gonna look at those nt05's. I have the dr's right now. I understand you get a little over a year out of them but i want somthing thats gonna last a little longer. I live in central Nj and for college this fall im gonna be commuting Staten Island. So im gonna be putting some miles on them. but i also want to be able to run at the track if i want to and stick. I live like 2 mintues from raceway so i like to be able to just run over there and go for some runs. I pretty sure these nittos nts are looking good right now.

When I first got my 10.5's I had Dunlops put on at $370 per tire X 2 + installation. Those tires were spent in about 9 months.
My next set was Sumitomo HTR Z. $115 per tire X 2 + installation and they lasted 6 months longer than the Craplops.
I don't drag race my car but even with cheap tires on I can still whip 70% of the cars on the road in my area.
