Okay, so as I was driving today, not only did part of my rear suspension completely break, the rubbing in the front end culminated in the rupture of one of the lines that runs on the rack and pinion, thus eliminating the power steering and brakes at the same time.

So, I need to replace this line, but I can't seem to find it for a reason. I've looked at the lines available for 1999-04 GT's, couldn't find a reasonable replacement (one that looks like it'll fit), and it doesn't seem to match any of the cobra lines, from 99-01, or 03-04's.

It seems like there is one available for a 1999 v6 mustang rack that looks like it will fit fine, but I'm not completely sure that it has the right ends on it.

Now I'm not opposed to having a new line fabricated, hell it seems that the lines directly from ford are $79-159, and it would cost less to have one fabricated. but if I can just manage to go down to Checker's and buy a new replacement, that would sure save a hell of a lot of time.

Now I don't have an OEM ratio rack and pinion, but that shouldn't change the location of the lines or anything

Now, for you naysayers and people who dislike me, It's not the work I need help with, it's finding a part, which in no way implies anything about my ability.

If ya'll could help me find this part, or maybe suggest a part number or similar part, or even a part name, that would be awesome

there are more listed, this one had the best pick, but ebay should help you, looks like 94+ is all the same to me, they have one on there for $20.00.

You could also try Napa. Some Napa locations custom make lines if you either have the measurements or the original line they can use as a template.
