Default Tuner for mostly stock 02 GT?

I've got an 02 GT automatic. Mostly stock, nothing but K&N filter and weld in Flows. I've been looking into a Brenspeed tuner. Would it help out that much or should I just wait till I have other mods before a tune would give me a noticeable difference? Thanks

Honestly i dont think its worth it with just those mods. I got my way back than and it was pretty much useless. It paid of in the long run though cause of all the tunning necessary with my mods but for just weld ins and an intake idk. If your planning on getting more mods and your going to be getting it tuned and such than i would say go for it. But right now idk. Its a lot of money when you could just go for gears.

Mostly I would like to feel more torque down low. I've thought about 4.10s but just can't find a shop around that I really trust to do them right lol Anyway, is there any way to guess as to how much power/torque a tune would add to my car?

I have an auto and just had 4.10s installed yesterday. The 4.10s + the tuner = AWESOME! I couldn't be happier! Its like a completely different car! By far the best performance mod I've done so far!

only reason I got my tuner was for speedo recalibration after gears and to turn off the rear O2's. the tuner was the last mod for me. I can tell you it did make a difference. huge difference? not really, but it was noticeable. ill say this....i had the timing advanced moderately with the tuner, which is what these handhelds do. i had driven around on that tune for quite awhile. i went back and loaded the stock tune just for kicks and that damn car ran like I had the e-brake on. id recommend the sniper tuner...its easy, a lot of fun to play with, and you can do all the tunes yourself from your PC.

+1 on the tuner. It will come in handy down the road and you will get the added benefit of a custom tune. Gears + Tuner FTMFW!

I guess I have the stock 3.27s? On the highway at 75 I'm making right at 2300 rpms. Does that sound about right? Thanks

+1 if you get it get it for the gears for your speedo but that would be the only real reason you need one at this point
