Pushrods are boring and too simple to build power, I like a challange. Sticking with a mod motor. I will have to use billet rods and hope they don't break if that gives you an idea of my next project.
+1. Their are many way to looks at this. The way I do it is I financed mine and pay monthly of only $250, so I still have a **** load to mod the hell out of it, which I have.
Mustangman281: You are the only guy I know that has 1 badass GT. Every GT I have seen has a max of 400-480rwhp and that's it. I have to ask, do you have any other plans for your car?
If you dont mind me asking, what are your plans for the car? Pushrod?lol

For the OP, I think the supercharged GT would be his best choice. IMHO, I would get a manual though. I never got tired of a manual in traffic.
The Cobra is def. awesome but, I think the GT would be more comfortable, avail. in auto, etc.

[quote=mustangman281;6294472][quote=fausty;6294257]you know there are rods out there that can handle like 1500hp right? so im sure there is something out there that you dont have to worry about breaking. its just how deep are your pockets? in other words i think you will be alright
