Question P1SC questions and trade?

Hello everyone I'm new to this sight a buddy turned me on to it and it seams to have alot of knowlegable people on it. So I thought I might ask a couple of questions and see if I can get some input.

Here's my delema, i have a P1SC head unit that i bought from a buddy. I to supercharge an older mustang. The problem is the head unit I have is revers rotation. My freind said since the P1SC has streight cut impeller vanes all I need to do is change the outlet housing and spin it the other direction. Does this make sence?

u could just sell it and get the one that is correct for you mustang. if you want to change the housing, contact procharger first and ask them to see if it would work.

I did contact procharger and they were the ones that told me a housing will work. They would change it for 1400 dollars. Of course this includes then "going thru it". Your probably right I should sell it or trade it for a standard rotation unit. I really wanted to keep it since I know the history and shape its in but I guess i will roll the dice. Thanks!

You do, I am trying to put this on a 1968 dodge GTS small block 340. My wife refuses to let install it on her 2000 mustang GT. So I need a standard rotation due to clearance issues.

ohhhh, yeah, post it for sale, the RR are usually more expensive than regular or standard discharge.
