CF wiper cowl?

The resin on CF is normally (if on the cheaper side) more "brittle" (Not to be confused with harder) than the ABS plastic that the cowl is made from. IMO CF should be used to replace the heavy metal parts if it's going to be used. And like you said Steve, it should at least be painted.
There is also a huge difference in high quality CF parts and the fiberglass parts that's wrapped in a layer of CF then sold for three times as much.
Also, true race cars down apply to the CF rice stigma. The ricers stole the idea and made cheap imitations to appear cool.

Why doesnt it belong on mustangs? Let me guess Oh its and american car and its rice rite? That would be just like me saying clear cornered headlights belong on a honda or black chrome rimes belong on hondas.. So think what you want but allot of company's use it on mustangs like Griggs for example who build some of the nastiest suspension setups for our cars.. Its an easy way to get weight down whats soo wrong with that? When people are pulling out there back seats and replace it with a rear seat delete to ultimately lose 10lbs? Why not swap a few pieces over to the lighter material carbon fiber.. And not have to lose things like a back seat for example.. Thats just me not getting your hate for the cf on mustangs when it can help in the end if your trying to shave a second off of a lap time or a few tenths off of the 1/4 mile..
