99' - 04' which was faster the saleen or term cobra? stock of course. prolly a stupid question, but i was jus wandering! thanks for any input!

Yeah thats a stupid question. The cobra may have a ****ty supercharger but it does have 4v heads. The saleen has an even worse supercharger and only 2v heads.

The Cobra was faster...stock for stock! If i remember right the 99-04 Saleen would dyno around 310-330 rwhp, and the 03-04 Cobra around 360-380 rwhp.

hahaha but the saleen cobra was sick as hell...and much faster and more rare than any regular plain old saleen or termi.

wow i always thought they dyno'd at 340-360....man thats pitiful if they only managed 310rwhp or so

Although the older 99-01 Cobra's weren't making 380

wasnt the saleen an 99-01 deal when the cobra was only n/a. then the cobra went termi and the saleen stopped?

i thought there was a n/a saleen and a s/c saleen...either way cobra owns both

there was, but im not sure what years they were produced? there was a s281, s281sc, s281e.

i always thought the n/a s281 was just a gt with a body kit, the s281s/c version made around 340-360 and the 281e was a 400hp version of the s/c saleen.

regardless of which was faster stock, i'd take the termi. 4v heads ftw
