most of my friends wish they went 4.10 and have 373's..IMO though if you do alot of highspeed roll racing ( which is bad btw) or plan on getting blown...i would stick to the 373's but if your gonna stay n/a and do dig or roll racing to around 100 then 4.10 or 4.30 ftw

I'm going to be in a similar situation of switching gears but my case is a little different.

I have 3.73s now and have no problems with them (I like not having to shift into 5th at the track)

I plan on doing a H/C/I upgrade later and i'll probably need 4.10s due to loss of low end torque.

Do yourself a favor and get gears according to YOUR setup, not what someone else tells you to do. Plan it all out and it'll save you money in the long run.

If you are on the fence about gears...go 3.90. Its a perfect middle ground between 3.73's and 4.10's. Little bit better out of the hole than 3.73's but longer pulls than 4.10's. Perfect gear for those of us who found ourselves in this quandry.

If supercharging is in your plans I would stick with what ya got. How bad would that suck if you got a supercharger and wanted to go back to 3.73

To tell you the truth, 4.10's with a blower is friggin awesome. My friend took me out in his 10 second termie the other day and he has 4.10's and it is just sick man. It pulls sooooo much harder than stock. So even if the car has a blower, just invest a little bit in suspension parts and you should hook and have an insanely quick car.

I had 3.73's and switched to 4.10's... I couldnt feel a bit of difference and the 1/4 times didnt budge. The only difference I could notice at all was that I would be doing couple hundred more rpm on the hwy.

you were riding in a 10 second car....you cant really compare that to a bolt on gt with 3.73s or 4.10s lol

imo, theres better ways to spend your money than to switch from 3.73 to 4.10
