I change mine whenever I start diagnosing a problem, lol. I've never had a bad plug yet!

Because it will weaken the amount of time it takes to ignite the fuel and there by rob you of power. (there's technical terms for it all I just do care to look it up.) NA cars usually step up to a hotter plug but in Modular applications, I don't see it helping much with stock compression and stuff.

I wussed out.

I took off the passenger side fuel rail and 1st coil pack and got to looking at the plug waaaayyyyy down in there. Then I turned my head and got looking at the last plug by the firewall on the passenger side. I need to get a good torque wrench and the right spark plug socket before I go for this.

I haven't had any issues, so I am just going to wait until I am closer to 100k. Thanks for the info guys.

Don't be a wussy, just remember your left hand is strong enough to tighten the SP to spec. Don't over tighten.

I just put in the E3 plug and they seem just fine. Get a 1/4 drive torque wrench with an adapter for 3/8 and its so easy.
