I belive sniper came out with a recon for s197s. But yes the data scout works with the s197s and all other 96+ cars.

Correct!!! It will data log, read DTC's , etc. on the 05' up Mustangs as well as all other OBDII vehicles. Watch for our group buy special SOON!!

They have been tweaking it for the CAN bus ('05+) to make sure it's 100% reliable--generic PIDs at first, however manufacturer specific PIDs will be added once the scaling factors get nailed down.
