What kind of power can they handle? i remember hearing lots of bad things about them in the past? Can they be easily built up to handle more power? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wanna say like arojnd the 370hp mark, not 100% that may be for the t-45, but i would not go too much over that in a 3650.

Sure. But its my finding that the trans hasn't had a prob holding power but sucks at taking the abuse of shifting the **** out of it

So basically it would be more likely for it to blow from hard shifting than exceeding its rated torque capacity?

That's the problem I'm having. But realize, I shift the **** out of it. Whitefoxgt can back me up, I drive the **** out of the car, I've tried flatshifting every gear and its no faster then when I do use the clutch. So not everyone will have my problem

The thing im worried about, is my motor is sitting at around 420 ft lbs of torque. Bah, well i guess worst comes to worse i can find out the hard way how much power it can handle. I would imagine plenty of people have put more power through one of these trans.
