There's a group buy for carbon fiber Mach 1 hoods over on M1R and I was thinking about getting one. I'd probably leave it as is for a while and then maybe get the outer portion of the hooded painted torch red and just leave the cowl part CF (like most guys paint their Mach hoods). I thought it would look good.

Thoughts?

i think it would look good with the middle part left carbon fiber, and i usually dont like the look of bare carbon fiber. would surprise a few people also, i say go for it

I thought it would be nice since my hood has some chips and stuff in it and I've been wanting to paint my hood black so why not just get in on this deal. I hear the CF isn't really noticeable until you're up close and personal with it.

i think it looks tacky as hell when people dont paint them... but painting the outside atleast shows that you didnt cheap out and just slap a hood on it, so i approve!...long as there is some paint on it, it looks good
