Default The mod bug has hit

Finally back on the mod train. Ordered the mgw shifter, shelby ****, and a k & n drop in today. I might be getting a new stereo over the weekend (since I need bluetooth for the iPhone).

I also have been working the beast over with mothers clay bar - it's amazing. I had some sort of staining going on - maybe acid rain (?), but nothing had been able to remove it before. After I'm done I'll get some pics up.

Not sure what my next step is going to be, but probably s/c. Got about 2K in the bank, but also have things like wood burning stoves and fishing kayaks on the brain

Wood burning stove mod...never heard that before. I'm just messing around. Everytime I think about spending $2k on my car I think about all the other things that money could buy...like $2K would get me pretty far in my truck restoration, or it would make for a killer trip on the beach, you know what I mean.

Post up pics after the clay bar...I need to do the same to mine.

Yea, we'll see. I might put the 2k towards a woodburning stove so I can use the sunroom all winter, and save for the s/c over the winter. I'll be debt free (well, unless you count that pesky mortgage) come October, so I'll be able to start saving a lot more then.

Yea when I got my cobra a lil over a year ago, I told myself I'm going to keep it stock for awhile. That lasted all about 3 days lol

Sadly, the Mod bug has hit you and there is no turning back. For me, all I wanted was a pair of Flowmasters.....and now....too much. Congrats on the purchases. As for claybaring your car make sure you add a polish to remove any swirls and finish it with a wax. Honestly, the OTC waxes are okay, but I'd check out Obsessive Detail. He's a sponser and his prices/products are great. After using his stuff, I will never buy OTC waxes or polishes again.
