Gear Install Recalibration

After gears are installed....do I have to buy the speedo recalibration kit? Or can someone that has already bought one hook up to me and recalibrate me?

the unit stays in the car for it to work, you can get a programmer and recalibrate it if you dont want to buy a speed cal

As soon as I posted that, I was looking at pictures of the speed cal and realized.

ya, if i were you id just look for a used programmer, youll pick up a few hp and you can get recalibrated
