Default Question about selling my car (not a sale ad)

I am going to be selling my '02 GT. It is zinc yellow with premium package. Everything works great on the car and it has 31K miles. No blower but several mods including 3.73 gears, 2.5 in header back exhaust, suspension, cobra wheels, bunch of bolt-ons and dress-up.

What is a mustang like this going for? kbb.com suggests retail of $7700, and trade-in $5800.

thoughts?

I think KBB is about right in the ball park. For the most part you never get your money back on your mod's, unless its a blower or some crazy motor and even then you don't get dollar for dollar back. List it for a bit more then you think you could get for it and that will give you some room to move on it.

the cars on Ebay are going for WAY less than that, and I've gotten an offer for $5k but I felt like that was a little too low. I know the economy is down and all right now but I wasn't sure about how much that would affect the private car selling market.

Do you absolutely need to sell?

If not, wait around a lil while for the perfect person. Someone will pay the right amount for it. I always say you should get bout 1/3 of the price you put in for mods. Not sure if thats accurate or even right for other ppl, but i think you should get something out of it.
