questions about turbo
#21
I ended up going with a turbo setup. I've got an '01 GT and I got my Hellion kit installed about four months ago. Their kit is really nice. All the piping is stainless steel and is fabricated by Bassani Exhaust. The kit comes with everything you need to install it on a completely bone-stock mustang. That goes for any Mustang be it a GT, a Mach, a Bullitt, or a Cobra from '79 and up, I think. You can delete some of the things from the kit to save money if you already have them like tubular front suspension and coil-overs, or if you already have a high-volume fuel pump and injectors, etc. I think you should go for the turbo setup because most of the time you see people with superchargers, and it's cool to have something that's less common. The 68mm Turbonetics turbo that comes with my kit hits full boost at a fairly low rpm, somewhere around 2800 if I'm remembering correctly. I'm sure it would be very close to the same thing for your car's kit too. I can't give you a very large amount of info on superchargers, but if you have any specific questions about turboing, send me a message and I'll do what I can to help ya.
