GAS MILEAGE IS CONTROLLED BY ONE THING ONLY......YOUR RIGHT FOOT
Why would you go from a gt to a v6?

I had both a gt and a v6, never would trade down, sold the gt, 8 months later bought another one(in my sig). Why i sold the gt, its a very very long story and costly experience.......i had to to just get rid of it

What kind of driving do you do daily??? And how many miles are on the car. Try changing stuff like the fuel filter and stuff like that and see where that gets you. I used to get 15 city with an old fuel filter. Changed the fuel filter and have gotten 18mpg city ever since. The auto is where you are losing all your gas mileage. Taching higher than an auto on the highway and probably more in town as well.
