Ok, first things first: Your car doesnt even have close to 290-300HP on it. You most likely only have about 280ish at the crank with those mods(thats about 235-240 RWHP; most of use speak in terms of rear wheel hp).
I suggest you go for a stage 1 type clutch or the King Cobra. You dont need anything more than the factory clutch to be honest.

+1 on King Cobra. Thats what I have, I am happy with the product for the price. I bought mine from summit even, because they were the only place open on sunday, I drove down and picked it up. BUT-it only works with T-45 or T-5 trannys. So, as staed above, if you have a mid 01' or newer, you may have the T-3650, and it will not fit.

There is a link for some that will fit the later years, make sure it says 11 inch, 4.6 liter, as some are for the v6.

Ok all ignore Bens sarcasm and stupidity.
How can we tell if Ben's 2001 is a early or late?
He needs a stockish clutch as the previous one (that he bought the car with) was just way to stiff and thus, learning on this insanely stiff clutch (My Audi has a stage 4 clutch and it was much stiffer than that) basically caused him to either roast it completely, Glaze it, or break one of the springs. From the smell, I'm thinking roast it.

Go for it, you will be the only one who is wrong. youll get a nice fat dyno chart with a max of 240 HP at the wheels
All you need to do is look at the water pump and see if its a short bolt or long bolt. Long bolts have t45s.
