Looks nice under the hood though!!
Well that's the real point.... I don't really think there is any intake manifold on the market that justifies it's price with performance when you're dealing with N/A.

I would be very curious to see the numbers on the edelbrock in a stock application.

I'll find the dyno sheet tomorrow but a guy on Modford has a fully built turbo setup car WITHOUT the turbo and gained 40rwhp. Of course that's low compression, heads, cams. exhaust etc... His dyno sheets where similar conditions both days and nothing changed on the tune.

The only reason I care about what the intake makes with a stock application is just out of morbid curiosity... Other than that i resort back to my strict stance catch phrase: "Stock?....who gives a **** about stock, lol."

Edit: Found it.

The red line in my car with the edelbrock intake, the blue is a stock intake on ported heads and cams, and the green line is a relativley stock car. hope this is what you guys were looking for. this run was after we had pulled the timing out of it, didnt feel it was worth running the extra timing for the little bit of power we picked up

and thats with the tall plenum too so he has a 90mm tb and that donkey dick elbow...so no restriction there. But the edelbrock looks like it more pin-pointed his air/fuel ratio on the graph and made it more even and more consistent. Didnt run lean throughout the rpm band. Wonder how they did that if they didnt recalibrate the tune because that thing is flowing some rediculous amount of air to not be pulling lean from the little air he was getting with the stocker. But if he gained that much with low compression and turbo cams, without a tune, then it would have to be a pretty decent gain n/a. Maybe i should try this and that huge freakin plenum with a huge throttle body sometime soon. That way if its a waste, you dont have to used the money on your wife's car and just go with the kb you wanna put on there. lol

Stay away from the typhoon I've seen them loose power and leak out of the crossover. I would stay stock.

He was making so little with heads and cams and only 303 with them and the intake? There's something wrong there. I've seen a guy with heads cams increased compression with stock intake make 348. I don't buy it picking up 45+hp na with cams and stock ported heads on a low compression engine. I think it was either the first or the last numbers being skewed. What did he pick up at the track in his trap?

With that said I still think it's a good intake

have a typhoon, didnt lose anything noticeable down low, but i did pick up a tenth in the quarter and almost 1mph trap, and that was on a hot day.

Does the edelbrock fit under the stock hood?
