Post 4.6 Typhoon Intake???

Hi everyone, im new here and im trying to find out if the Aluminum typhoon intake give any HP to my 04 Mustang GT 5 Speed. I already have

Accufab 75mm Throttle body
Accufab Plenum
Full Exhaust
3.73 Gears
Dablo Tune

Im going to spray some nitrous soon. But has anyone had any issues with the typhoon intake and is it worth gettin it??????

If you keeping the stock heads and cams, i would keep the stock intake as well!

I run nitrous with stock intake, and haven't had any problems.

What spark plugs do you use to spray??? is there anything out there today in the market that is good???

They're Champion copper tipped plugs, and they're a step colder as well. Been on for a year and still look great!

i heard that the typhoon isnt really that great of a manifold... its not worth the price

its an ok intake and it allow u to port it for more airflow if you choose to mod your engine more down the road. it you are going to run spray and you happen to have a backfire, the alum intake will more likely survive than your plastic one.

Typhoon = heat soaked stock intake that blows out gaskets = lower than stock Hp numbers = Fail

So then what intake would you recommend? Is that an Edelbrock Victor Jr. you have?

Either the Edelbrock, TFS or the P51. Although the P51 has never really should a Hp gain NA. The Edelbrock from the dyno sheet I've seen, average between 30 and 40 depending on how built the car is. And that's no loss down low.

The Edel is a direct runner straight into the Cylinders, what could be better than that?
