Default so the car will be down for a while...

Well ill make it short... 3rd gear syncro is gone, so my trans needs attention. And now I have a bad tap coming from the motor. Right now I'm thinking I broke the ringland on a piston. Regardless I guess I'm pulling the motor now.

Unfortuanitly I'm gonna have to stick w stock stuff, for budget reasons. Plan is a jy motor that ill freshen up. And a 4r70w with a stall, manual vb and trans brake

What's that out of? Onlt reason I'm doing a 4r70 is because I can trade my 2 broken 3650s for a good 4r70, then I just need a valvebody, and a tq converter... And the little swap ****

I wouldn't bet against you. I've considered it myself, but my tranny is still going strong with 133k miles. Once it craps out I may have to switch over. Document everything, take lost of post and post it up when done. I'd like to know what all is involved.

If all you need is a shortblock, I have my stock one sitting in the garage.

I know I've been posting a lot of for sale ads by other people... this guy I have personally dealt with.

Not sure if 2800 stall is enough for you though.
