It will make good power for guys running stock heads and valve springs. This should be a drop in friendly grind, that shouldn't have to be advanced or retarted to fit, and have plenty of ptv clearence.
A stage one should NEVEr have any issues.. this is not even up to stage one caliber from the specs you showed. Your about to waste a lot of money for about 7hp to the rear wheels.

7 hp??? Try 20-30 hp! CMS stage 1's make this kind of power...why wouldn't these? These are decent specs for someone who doesn't want to change springs, or want's to keep the stock heads. They are also good for the buyer that wants plenty of ptv clearence (since the stock cams can be off alot) and won't have to mess around with degreeing them.

I've seen several stage 1 cams pull 20+ hp. CMS, Comp, and even Hitech's stage 1 will do that. Maybe not in all cases, but it has been done on several ocassions.

I'd be willing to bet with the right tuning these will pull 20+. Naturally aspirated mod motors do well with a fairly low LSA and tight intake and exhaust centerlines.

Im all for stage 1s in stock heads and im one of the biggest advocators for them on this site but 20-30 hp...thats stage 2 territory there..

If that day comes I seriously hope you keep fresh , I agree 20-30 hp stage 1 cam seems a little stretched but hey its not impossible.

It may have happened on a few cars.. ill attribute that to the dyno in all honesty. but when you look at the majority.. your looking at 15hp max for a stage 1 almost every person iv seen with stage 1st and full bolt ons are around 285.

theres not much more advancement they can do with a 2v cam that they havnt already done..
