Nothing against mrtstang, but I would not recommend the SSS Terminator mufflers (same company as Autochrome). Again, just my opinion, but they are made with cheap overseas insulating material that will start to blow out within months.

Here's what I would do- remove the cats (for off-road use), keep the h-pipe, weld up a set of Dynomax Ultra-flow mufflers OR a set of Pypes (if you like this company; not sure of the actual manufacturer) Race Pro mufflers. This setup would be louder than stock, with a deep tone, that would get very raspy at WOT.

No offense taken, but i've had this system for 2.5 years, and it never got raspier, louder, poppier, etc. All signs of cheap insulating material, which this definantely is not. Just ask apeople who have it. Every part of this system is high quality.

yea, id agree with mrtstang because sss makes a very high quality piece of work. Ive seen the fit and finish of the stuff and it all looks to be very high quality. How do you know all this stuff...if i may ask??? Not trying to be a jerk...just wondering out of curiosity.

There is a company called SSS Autochrome, but's it's not at all affiliated with Stainless Steel Systems (SSS). They make performance parts, and cat back systems as well.

I'm guessing he saw it when he googled info for SSS, and assumed it was the same thing. Maybe i'm wrong, but i don't know how else he could make that mistake.

He also states "it's just my opinion" when he talks about the muffler quality. So who knows.

I dunno, he runs a business, maybe he's speaking from personal experience?
