if the pipe is too long just cut it and rent a pipe expansion tube from auto zone, to get the pipe to slip over,tool rental is free from them. just remember that some muffler shops will not mess with your car if you are trying to defeat factory emissions. what mid pipe are you running?

its a pypes catted x, i pulled my cat off today, i figure i hust need to find like a 2 9/16 pype of so, it comes with a band clamp that is larger on one half

no cats sounds better...just pull them off, punch them out, and stick them back on
