well I broke my gas pedal at the track and Ford only sells the whole assembly (for $60) so I was thinking about bullitt pedals. Those with them how are they and how much of a PITA are they to install?

I like them... Install was a PAIN IN THE ASS!!! I would go for it. I wouldn't pay $60 for the stock set..

Go for it. I have heard that install was a huge pain. I think I read once of someone boiling them to soften the rubber when putting them on??....not sure if it helped or not.

They are not that bad to put on. I put a little vasoline on and they pretty much slid right on.
FYI I have a set on e-bay it has everything but the Gas pedal. Make me an offer and I will end auction and send them to you
eBay auction

^^you are correct. Install is not that bad if you do it right.
-Take old ones off(piece of cake)
-Boil water and place new pedals in water for 10 min or so
-Take pot of water with pedals outside to car
-Take one pedal out(wear gloves.. they're hot) slide on to pedal arm.
-repeat for other slip on pedal.
-As far as the gas pedal goes, i just unbolted the whole assembly and took it out of the car. much easier this way. then swap pedals and bolt it back in.
-The dead pedal is a pita to get out! I used a stout screw driver and just broke it.. didnt plan to use it again. Once it is out of the way, snap the new one in.
-Done

I have them & I say they were a PIA only because I'm a big dude and trying to wedge myself under the dash made for a long afternoon.
I have a problem with them when it rains, the grip isn't the greatest in the world, I'm thinking of getting the type u have to drill into the pedal.

i don't care what anyone says, they were a b!tch to get on! the gas pedal was easy but the clutch/brake was a pain - even with boiling water and soap. use a little pry tool to get the lip of the covers around the pedals

My wife would shoot me if she saw me boiling pedals in the kitchen...not to mention, I don't think I would ever hear the end of it. Good thing mine came pre-installed.
