+1
I just scanned through the sticky(which is very nicely done IMO) and it seems that even the dealership COP tester fails good COPs...
I would go to autozone, but some spark plugs, put them in and try it. If it is still missfiring(which i am assuming is what is happening) you should be able to bring it to autozone carefully and have them put it on the comp to see what cylinder is missing. This may narrow your bad cop issue down to 1 or 2 cylinders.. then all you have to deal with is that one or two. not eight..
After reading the sticky, i agree with cliffy. I dont see all of them going bad at the same time.
I also +1 cliffy for them packing you with sand right now..

I have not read the sticky just yet.... (Sry Devongarver, ill do that now). But what i did to test was get an ohm meter Put it on OHM Scale Test Each COP they should all be reading about the same Ohms.... The ones that were reading HALF of what the other were I changed and no more Missing... I dont know if thats how your Suppose to do it, but im going to read devongarvers sticky and find out!!

EDIT: Good Sticky!!! I have a Megger (check some a/c motors with them) Didn't know i could use it on my coils!!

I just changed my cops and plugs and wires for less than 200 and I did it myself and I'm by no means a mechanic. that was with stock style cops, plugs and motorcraft platinum plugs.

if you buy those MSD COPs,...I might be tempted to reach through the computer and B*tch Smack you...they are the SAME EXACT PART as the ones that I have a link to in my sticky, only mine are less than 1/4 the price. Pleeeeeze just read the sticky so I don't have to retype it all?!?!?

/\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\
LOOK RIGHT ABOVE MY POST... COP STICKY!!

This is the Sticky everyone is talking about https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6-...formation.html

Please dont buy the MSD ones, they basically stock ones for way more money!! Read the link... it had ALOT of GREAT information for you to use... I am in Tampa Area, little far lol. I bet if you buy all the items, go to a car show(mustang oriented) some one will change them for you for free... Its REALLY simple, you will see!!
