Well just my input, i bought a 99 gt manual, with 200k, with a perfect body, clear title, and nothing wrong mechanical, and many engine parts and suspension parts replaced. I bought the car for 1k. So i would definitely shoot that offer down if it were me. And listen for gear whine and all and if there is any knocking coming from the engine. And GET A CARFAX. Then go from there about what you offer

gear whine even if he put in aftermarket gears? he said that it bumped a parked car in the parking lot, so yes it would have accdent on carfax said it was reported. Any trans Test or engine test? dipstick check for burning? did any GTs come with V6 rims becuse its a prem package inside. im going ot say 4500

no gt came with v6 rims, they came with 17x8 rims. And if the gears were not properly installed there can be a whine. i just dont think its a good buy unless you get it for a lot cheaper than that. i would say like 2k or 2.5 k. or just keep looking. There are a lot of great deals out there. And as far has tests, you will know if somethings wrong with it, or if you know a mechanic have him look at it.

that shoud bring its value down alot since its been in accdnet. around in MD thu i cant find a new edge thats cheaper. maybe if it has like 150k thu. im offer 3800 he thinks 5500 i have a feeling his going to walk. its all stock

yes it causes damage. Long enough not aligned properly will cause metal shavings to be thrown into the oil in the rear end and later the gears will be grinded down to nothing. I personally think you need to be patient with finding a mustang, or keep saving. " Patience is a virtue"
