stock fuel pump

Default stock fuel pump

will the stock fuel pump support a 150 wet shot? i have been told not to worry bout it, but screw that. i need closure!
i know i should upgrade but if i dont need to right now then i wont.

All i can tell you is that at 373 rwhp/528 rwtq on a 100 shot, my stock pump was working. I changed it though, because it was working at 100% capacity. Which means the pump was being stressed to the max. That's not a good thing!

I had a stock pump and was sparying 125 wet. The stock pump work find. Then change the pump out for a aviator pump.

you never want to run your fuel pump or injectors at 100% b/c then they can not account for other variable not seen on a dyno such as elevation or big weather changes. just go with a ford gt pump, aviator, or svt focus pump to be on the safe side. a fuel pump is much cheaper than a new engine.

Mine would not support a Nitrous Express 150 shot. Some other companies rate their shots differently. I went with a SVT Focus pump.....no worries.

sweat, thanks for the input guys. i guess ill put a pump on order. till then ill only do a 100 shot.
