Default rim and tire question

hey guys, looking to get new rims soon. Im going to get black fr500s. I was originally going to get 17x9 in the front and 17x10.5 for the back. i was going to put 315s on the back. I also have the borla catback and on the passanger side the pipe already looks like it sits close to the rear tire (245s). Would i F*** something up with going with the 315s out back? should i just go with 17x9 all the way around and just have 275s and be able to rotate my tires? part of me was also thinking of going with 18s in the rear but i dont know if i should go with 18x9 or 18x10. I also have the stock suspension currently and i am thinking of lowering it at some point but only about one inch. would i run into any problems there? some help/insight/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

go 18x10s with 315/30/18, then slam the thing.

Personally, I wouldn't go with 17x9 all around just to be able to rotate the tire. In my opinion, with a good alignment, your tires should wear eqaully anyways, so just go with the staggered setup and a good alignment. 17x9 & 17x10.5 or 18x9 & 18x10. with the 10.5" rim 315 should be fine after a drop with no rubbing issues. On a 10" rim, I don't know that I would go as wide as a 315, maybe a 295 or 305 instead, but get your wallet ready.

I am running 18x9 18x10 black fr500's on stock suspension 265/35 up front and 285/35 in the back. I am very happy with the setup. I may bump up to a 295 when its time for new tires.

DO NOT GO WITH THE 17FRONT AND 18 IN THE REAR IT LOOKS LIKE GARBAGE!

Stick with the 18s all around, and go with the 315s the will fit perfectly.
Trust me you will thank me.

Need to be careful running differing tire diameters!

The ABS sensors don't like too much differential. I have done LOTS of research and cannot find how much difference it takes to create an issue, but this will at some point. I would recommend you stick with same size wheels both front/rear and stay as close as possible to same diameters.

Thank you sir.

As previously stated...don't do the 17's up front and the 18's out back. Good luck with the decision.

Go with 18's all the way around. I have 245/35/18 up front and 295/35/18 on the back. I also have my car dropped about 2 inches. The front tires are a little skinny on the 9" wheel i should have gone with a 265. But i love the 295s in the back they look real nice and it fills the wheel well completely. I havent had any issues with rubbing either

I have 18x9s up front, and 18x10s out back, with 265 up front and 285 out back. It makes for a pretty good set up. Whatever you do, dont put two different diameter wheels on your ride, it looks terrible. As far as the tire sizes being different and causing issues with ABS, that would happen unless you put a shorter tire on the 17, you can still have the same diameter tires on 17s and 18s, it just looks like trash.
