Default How restrictive is a MAC catback?

Just wondering. I'm thinking about changing to the loudmouth resonators.

Well....Not restrictive, but what kind of sound are you looking for?

Loud, but not to the point of my ears bleeding.

I've heard a stang with a or/h and the resonators, it was WAY too loud inside. I'm thinking a catted X, with the slp's would be good. I'm not sure, though.

i got a bbk xpipe with slp 2 lm. sounds great. if restriction is what u are worried about though u arent going to notice any difference in power. what i liked about the slp exh is that is was much lighter than my crappy flowy cat back

SLP resonators will still be very loud even with a catted mid pipe. Don't switch because you think the MAC's are more restrictive (you'll never notice a difference). Only do it because you want a different sound.

I had the MAC setup on my Cobra. I loved them... Also had a BBK o/r X

My Rustmasters rotted out so I ditched them. Stay away from the Loudmouths man they annoy the hell out of me.

Not to threadjack, but how did you like your experience at performance evolution? I play ice hockey right around the corner from them, and always wondered if they were a decent shop or not.

Seems you have your places mixed up. Evolution Performance is the shop in PA, that does all the GT500s and the place you are referring to. Its a great shop, but the guys up there can be a little much. An average dyno tune will run you close to 700$ and they are always booked up. I know many people who have dealt with them. The place I go to is Performance Evolution in Middletown DE... Smaller shop but the guy Matt does extremely good work. Give him a call 302-449-3200 and have a chat with him. I recommend them, they did the work on my truck, Lizzyfan's build, and a few other members here
