blown trans n motor $2500... what to do

the shift lever isnt connected onto the trans... its mounted to your floor... with 4-5ft of shifter cable going to the trans... you could hold it in your lap if you really wanted to

9 outa 10 ppl put it in the cupholder(ashtray on a foxbody) area because it fits easier, and is closer to the driver
no i did not know that, my buddy told me it cant do in the stock position because it was too long, just took his word for it...unless he meant the shifter was too long and i misunderstood him lol only trans ive ever worked with were stick
