Default Oversized tires are OK --->

Saw myself a Stang a bit ago with some 295/35/18"s on an 8" wheel:

Little hard to tell from cell pic, but both rear tires have deep cracks all the way around the tire due to excessive roll-over of tread. I am always harping on running correct sizes and this is why

Jazzer says... crack is wack

hmmm hard to tell, does look kinda like fender rub, but either way its because the tires are way to big lol. It looks ridiculous.

Part of the tire's contact patch is basically the ****ing shoulder/top of the sidewall corner. WTF

I thought it was fender scars too, but the wheels look pretty far from the edge of fender, so I am not sure. Looking up very close, you can see what looks like stretch marks from the strain of the tire curling over the edge. Could be a combonation of fender and strain I suppose.

Jazzer

EDIT: This is also an 8" wheel and have also seen a 315 on an 8" wheel and would rub like a big dog, depending on off-set. I will see if I can dig up that pic

my guess is fender rub, but it doesnt matter because that is just ****ing stupid...you get no performance gain, and it looks like ***, actually you lose performance, increase bad tire wear and if you went around a corner really fast youd probebly unseat it from the bead. I dont know a tire place that would have put that on for you....
