Default grinding noise...

I've noticed that everytime I drive around the 3500 rpm mark I hear this grinding noise.
My abs light is on. I dont know if that has anything to do with the noise.
Any idea?

Thanks,
Tin

3500 in any gear? At any speed? Does it do it in neutral?

1999yellowgt-

Well, just because your clutches are toasted in your differential, that doesnt mean yoour ABS light would come on. Get the codes pulled, and go from there.

I already had the abs light diagnosed. I will need to replace the driver/rear abs wheel sensor. I hear the noise in 1-4. 2nd gear seems to be the loudest. 1,3,4 you will have to really concentrate to hear the grinding noise. I don't hear it in neutral.
Is it my clutch or my rear end?

Thanks,
Tin

Could be a bad idler pulley... We cant tell you anything without hearing the noise first hand.
